Do you want to be part of cutting-edge technology development for space missions? We have a unique opportunity for you to become a key member of the Ground Segment Development Team at VZLU AEROSPACE. As a Software Developer, you will have a direct impact on the development and enhancement of our Mission Operations System (MOS) – an innovative software solution for satellite mission management, operations planning, and data processing.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test mission-critical software for satellite operations.
- Develop advanced dashboards for satellite monitoring, pass planning, and operations automation.
- Implement infrastructure for secure communication between the ground segment and satellites.
- Manage and enhance the MOS software architecture, including containerized deployment in a Linux environment.
- Collaborate with system engineers, satellite operators, and international partners to define and refine system requirements.
- Test, validate, and debug software modules to ensure high reliability in real-world operations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in accordance with ECSS standards for space applications.
What We Expect from You
- University degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux environments.
- Experience in telemetry processing, real-time data visualization, or related areas.
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman) and software deployment automation.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- English proficiency at B2 level (spoken and written) for technical communication.
What Will Give You an Advantage?
- Previous experience with space missions, ground segment development, or aerospace system engineering.
- Experience with Grafana and Ansible.
- Knowledge of ECSS standards for satellite operations.
