The partial objective of the DKRVO concept in this area is: “Developing knowledge and developing tools and solutions for small satellites, on-board systems and instruments.”
Space technologies belong to the highest degree of scientific and technological objectives that VZLU has systematically devoted to in broad collaboration with other Czech academic institutions and companies that strive for a significant expansion to transnational space programs. For the 5 year period VZLU has set the following goals resulting in specific technical and patented solutions.
Partial objectives:
- Development of nanosatellite VZLUSAT2 platform including a new version of OBC (On-board computer) and AOCS (Attitude Orientation and Control System).
- Development of an ion engine, including demonstrator verification in space equivalent conditions.
- Design of a new generation micro-accelerometer.
