Project Title: Automated phased array ultrasonic systems for inspection of metal and composites parts
Project Description:
The goal of the project is to develop a complex of technologies for individual types of ultrasonic NDT based on a modern and efficient Phased Array platform. The project aims to apply testing to metal rods, bearings, flat and curved composite parts for the aerospace industry and jet engines rotating parts. Each type of testing based on a different manipulation principle with the probe will require a new methodical and procedural procedure, the development of test equipment, especially effectors and modularly designed software. Full automation of test equipment, higher quality of testing and higher efficiency / speed of testing are expected from the project goals. The developed products will lead to an increase in competitiveness on he domestic and, above all, on foreign markets.
