Do you want to participate in the development and testing of components for use in space, or in the integration and testing of entire satellites? We have a unique opportunity for you to become part of our team in the VZLU SPACE division. If you have hands-on experience with electronics, mechanics, are a space enthusiast and enjoy hands-on lab work, this position is for you.
What will be your job description:
- Comprehensive work including planning, designing and performing tests of satellites and components for the space segment
- Integration/validation work in the ESD lab and cleanroom
- Design of verification methods for SW/HW/SYS requirements
- Creation of technical documentation, presentation of results
- Communication with customers regarding clarification of test procedures.
- Close cooperation with colleagues from other development departments (HW, SW, design…)
What you should have, know and be able to do:
- Experience in the Aerospace/Space segment (ECSS)
- University degree in a technical field (ideally focusing on electromechanics, electronics, etc.)
- Programming in Python
- Proactive team approach to work
- Ability to work independently with a result orientation
- English at B2 level (spoken and written)
Your advantage will also be:
- Overlaps to other technical fields (Physics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics …)
- Practical experience in electronics
- Experience in running a laboratory/electronics workshop/testing room etc.
- Experience in designing and performing space environmental tests (thermal, vacuum, structural, radiation)
