Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement software product assurance (PA) and quality assurance (QA) plans in compliance with ECSS software standards.
- Ensure software development processes meet applicable quality and safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with software quality requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of software lifecycle processes, including planning, requirements, design, development, verification, validation, integration, and maintenance.
- Conduct process audits and reviews to ensure compliance with ECSS standards and Company procedures.
- Ensure proper configuration management, change control, and traceability of requirements.
- Identify, assess, and manage software-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and deviations in software processes or products.
- Implement lessons learned and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve test plans, procedures, and reports to ensure comprehensive verification and validation of software systems.
- Participate in software reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QR) and ensure all quality assurance criteria are met.
- Support the qualification and acceptance testing of software products, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain software assurance documentation, including quality assurance plans, audit reports, and compliance matrices.
- Provide regular status updates on software quality assurance activities to internal and external stakeholder
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software product assurance or quality assurance, preferably in the space or aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of technical standards for software.
- Proven experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and associated tools.
- Expertise in quality assurance methodologies, configuration management, and risk management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working on ESA or EASA-certified projects.
- Knowledge of ECSS standards or EASA requirements for software
- Knowledge of system engineering principles, including integration of software with hardware systems.
- Familiarity with space industry best practices and safety-critical software development.
- Hands-on experience with software verification and validation techniques, including static and dynamic testing.
- Certification in quality assurance, project management, or software engineering (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, or equivalent) is an asset.

- Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2).
