The partial objective of the DKRVO concept in this area is: “Developing knowledge and creating tools and solutions for gas turbine engines.”
Turbine engines are today the main type of propulsion unit for regional and large commercial aircraft. In terms of materials and production technologies, the engine is the most sophisticated part of the aircraft. VZLU has been systematically working on gas turbine engines for almost 50 years which leads to a very good link with global developments in this area. VZLU is also in close cooperation with Czech and even foreign manufacturers of turbine engines. For DKRVO following have a high ambition for industrially applicable solutions.
